Hybrid Flight MRO

JetSupport has been assigned to conduct a feasibility study on the impact of maintaining different propulsion systems (electric, hydrogen, and fossil fuel) for future aircraft.

Funded by the "Luchtvaart in Transitie" grant, the study aims to identify necessary changes in JetSupport’s work environment, processes, and infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient maintenance of hybrid-powered aircraft. This includes exploring required investments and preparations for maintaining these new-generation aircraft while ensuring safety and efficiency.

JetSupport has a partnership with NRG2Fly, a partner that is dedicated to creating solutions for emissions-free aviation solutions, supported by Boosten Consultancy and KLM E&M, showing its interest in the developments and outcomes of this study.

The feasibility study will be completed by June 2025, with the findings being shared afterwards. This research plays a key role in advancing sustainable aviation technologies and aligns with JetSupport's mission to promote innovation and sustainability in the aviation industry.
